wifi not detecting

i am using backtrack 4.0 final on ubuntu using virtual box in bridged mode as to connect to network .
adapter 1- e0 = working fine
adapter2- wlano = not able to detect
how do i resolve the problem ??

i hv install madwifi ....fro this i did
1. apt-get upgrade
2. apt-get install madwifi-drivers

have u tryed going to services start network then the wicd network manager & connecting to get internet & if you want to crack wifi why dont you just apt-get aircrack-ng in ur ubuntu machine
